BIG PROBLEMS! Need URGENT! Help!

I have 2 problems with my Sophos

1. Everytime I try and update it, it says "Unable to contact servers"

2. I have scan my computer 10 times but there is still Adware poping ads all over my browers (Firefox and Google Chrome) the only websites that I have found to be uninfected is (Youtube, Google and Sophos) Please fix this before I have to restart my whole computer!

I got this Sophos because my mum is a Police Officer so we got it for free but now I do not know what to do

Ducky, I have had nothing but success with Sophos. So you have a very good software. If you feel like you have a virus that the Sophos Client is not removing you can try running the Sophos Virus Removal Tool. There are instructions and the link to download it is at the bottom. It is free.

ALSO - Download and install Malwarebytes. I hate to support it here on Sophos' forums but it is a good tool to remove the programs that redirect your websites (adware). Post back up if this cleared things up.
