can anyone confirm problems on windows 7 PC with Sophos Endpoint on premise. It's like after april updates, takes long time to start and logs are full with sophos messages.

By luck, I blocked the updates in WSUS this month for our W7 machines (critical are normally autoapprove in WSUS for us). If this isn't sorted quickly then I will have lost faith in Sophos and will be voting with my feet before our January renewal (even though our last W7 will be gone in a month time and we have no W8). Two months of near identical issues is not on.

No usable advice in the sophos KB other than uninstall a security update that is so serious MS even patched CVE20190708 in 2003 and XP machines (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4500705/customer-guidance-for-cve-2019-0708).
