Any known issues with Sophos on an imac running bootcamp with windows 10?

So we did have an issue with variations of TrickBot. After getting things cleaned up we have an issue that seems to be unique to iMac computers running windows 10 Via bootcamp. Those with the issue can browse and work with our network drives fine. When they try to use a browser, mostly google chrome, soon after opening the app freezing and stops responding. One the common things I've noticed is it seems to happen after we update/reinstalled the sophos client. 
 
 The Error in the system event log that also seems to be related is the following: 
 The description for Event ID ( 16002 ) in Source ( AFD ) could not be found. It contains the following insertion string(s): \Device\Afd, TCP, 61919, 13540 
 I don't see anything specific regarding sophos as the source of the issue but it just seems too coincidental that Pc's running ok freeze up like this after we updated sophos.

Thank you for the reply, the issue turned out to be a conflict between sophos and malwarebytes which was recently installed. The web protection was disabled but still managed to cause a conflict. The issue was resolved by removing malwarebytes.
