Hi,
I am having issues removing Sophos Management Server 5.5.0 from one of our virtual machines.
We no longer use Sophos or have any access so I'm assuming it's an issue with tamper protection - when I try and uninstall via Apps and features it just fails to uninstall.
SophosZap doesn't work - anyone have any ideas for removing the software?

To clarify, were you able to remove other Sophos components except for the Sophos Management Server? Can you please share a screenshot of the error message when you try to uninstall and also when you try to use SophosZap?
If all the other components were already removed, and it's just the Sophos Management Server, you may also try removing it from the registry.
Go to the below 4 registry locations one by one, right-click > Find and search for Sophos Management Server, and remove the registry key.
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\uninstall
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
