Hi all,
we are using Sophos Central Intercept X Advanced on our client PCs and laptops.
When laptop users are not on site they connect via vpn client "ShrewSoft". However, the Sophos Network Threat Protection is blocking the connection. If I temporarily disable NTP, it works well.
I tried to set some exceptions in Central regarding the VPN software, for example I completely excluded the C:\Program Files\ShrewSoft\ folder from real time scans. But without success.
Can someone please tell me how to set up the correct exceptions so NTP isnt blocking anymore?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Aktuator,
Thanks for reaching out.
Let me know if you've tried to add a process exclusion for the application that runs for the VPN application.
Hi,
yes I did add a process (Windows) exclusion.
A few different scanning components will be affected when disabling Network Threat Protection from the local policy override. I recommend trying to turn off the following items one at a time from Sophos Central to find out if one of them is the main culprit for the issues you've been experiencing.
