Email Alert Recipients Based on Group

Could you send a screenshot of how you would use a custom rule to achieve that? I've set up a dummy rule and also checked the docs you point us toward and there is no option that I can see to say 'computers in Group X send alerts to distribution group Y'.

Please could you let us know we can "configure email alerts based on the computer group of the computer"

Hi Joe,

It looks like this is not currently possible if all devices are managed from one Sophos Central Admin instance. It is possible to filter alerts out based on which product you'd like to stay informed about, but it is not possible to filter based on device groups.

If you wish for an email address to receive alerts only for devices within that branch or site, I'd recommend leveraging the "Sophos Central Enterprise Dashboard". This is a change you can make to the Sophos Central Admin Portal so that each group is broken out into it's own sub-estate. 

By doing this, you can use the "Custom rules" options to define a list of email addresses that will receive alert notifications from that sub-estate or group of devices.
