Sophos Central HIGH CPU USAGE

HIGH CPU USAGE due to Sophos Health Service| Renamed the DB File , All Servvices are OK, No Data being copied to external Drives

C$\ProgramData\Sophos\Health\Event Store\Database\events.db

The EVents.db is continuously being updated with its size growing every few secs.

Any one had similar problem?

We have had this on one server but haven't been able to pinpoint down to one thing. We have referred this back to Sophos for some assistance.

Hello G1G1

Follow the steps in this KB: Sophos Central Endpoint: Basic troubleshooting to help isolate any other Sophos component that is causing this.

Raise a support case with what you find, together with SDU logs.

Can you look at the JSON files under "C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Health\Event Store\Trail\" to see what the events are? I've seen web control create a lock of events if you're blocking ad cataegory for example. Especially on a terminal server with many browsing users.
