Full Disk Access issue

Hi folks,

after upgrading to Big Sur, I get these annoying messages for full disk access.

- Followed the messages - no effect

- Reboot - no effect

- Uninstalled - reboot - installed - reboot - no effect

Got some advice from Twitter support, didn't work:

--> The output to "sudo sqlite3 /Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db "select client,auth_value from access" | grep -i sophos | sort" in the terminal window is: "Error: unable to open database "/Library/Application Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db": authorization denied"

Could you help me out with this one, step-by-step, please? Thanks.

  • Hi Daniel,

Sorry to hear about your troubles but I'm sure we can help. We'll need to take a look at some logs in order to determine what's going on

Would you be able to generate an SDU so we can investigate the issue? You'll need the software installed, and all the prompts followed and then:

    • Go into Central, find the device, and click on the generate SDU button
    • Once the sdu is uploaded, post the file name here so we can extract it and take a look

And just to confirm, you're running version 10.0.2 of the endpoint software?

In order for the terminal command to work, Terminal itself requires full-disk access.
