Sophos on M1 Macs "SEDEnabled" error

Hi,

We've recently noticed getting this error message when trying to do a manual install of version 10.0.1 on an M1 Macbook Air with Rosetta 2. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a fix available? Any insight would be appreciated

  • Hi Roger, we're struggling to reproduce this error. 

    We'd usually ask for an SDU but without the product installed that approach won't work.

    If you could zip up our diagnostics logs and share them with DropBox or OneDrive or something similar that would be great. You can DM me the link and I'll get them to an engineer for analysis.
