Blocked Website

I'm getting a "High Risk Website Blocked" window when I try to access my work website from my home iMac. It says that Troj/Maghack-A has been found on the site and I can't bypass it. I know the site is clean, and in addition to not being able to access it myself, I'm concerned potential customers may not be able to access it either. Please help!

  • Hello Susan Wayland,

I know the site is clean
I know several who knew that a site (theirs or some other trustworthy) is clean - but the site didn't know [:P].
Seriously, compromised sites often appear to be clean, e.g. they might present their rogue content to "select" visitors only. OTOH co-hosted sites might jointly get classified when one site is compromised (note that this is not a mis-classification or false positive as it's impossible from the outside to determine whether crucial components are share or not). Or the content might actually come from a third-party.

To get the site reassessed please see Sophos reports that a website is blocked or has access restricted.
