How to begin scanning files?

I have installed the Mac AV Home Edition app. However, I am not able to begin scanning my files. I have a Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.

Am I missing another file that allows me to begin the scan?

I'm not sure if you have a software problem or just a bit stuck on how to use the program.

I'd recommend watching the video playlist for SAV for Mac Home Edition on our YouTube channel and posting back whereabouts you are stuck.
