uninstall sophos virus removal tool

Hi, 
 In the process of updating my free sophos virus removal tool, I was asked to uninstall a former version. Unfortunately, I've deleted the install information files' and therefore all my efforts to uninstall the program failed. 
 I read a tip on this forum, suggesting the deletion of a reg key (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Features\711E928B270DAE14696089623AD8431C]) which I did, with no use/ 
 How can I uninstall the program under these circumstances? There's no way I update the program without uninstalling this obselete version/

 Thank you for contacting us. We only recommend usage of add/remove programs or "Programs and Features" option to perform uninstallation of SVRT. However since they have not been fruitful to you, I would suggest you to try MS Fixit for uninstallation issues before you resort to manual removal of the registry keys. Please be aware that using MSFixit is not a recommended method by Sophos for any of its applications' uninstallation and i merely a suggestion that may work around the obstacle you have at this moment.
