I can't see the Quarantine Manager popup window

I've just installed Sophos Home on my Mac. It's come up with a few alerts about Trojan and malware viruses that can only be 'removed manually'. I've clicked the 'How to' button and read through instructions but I'm not seeing the Quarantine Manager window at all that keeps being mentioned. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and where to go from here. Any suggestions much appreciated!

Thanks

Alex

  • Same problem here, I have no "Quarantine Manager" referenced in https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/118117. (Is that supposed to be the panel that comes up when you click the 'Alerts' button in Sophos Home?)

I decided to go the directory where the infected file lives (un-copyable path is displayed on the 'Alerts'), but I can't open the folder: "the folder "T" can't be opened because you don't have permission to see it's contents."

I opened the 'get info' panel for the folder, and tried to change permissions so I could see what's in the folder, but I get a message "The operation can't be completed because you don't have the necessary permission". 'Sharing and permissions: You have no access'

         system Read & Write,

         everyone No Access.

What permissions are necessary? Why can't I (as administrator) set permissions on the folder?

I'm using Sophos Home, Version 1.2.0 for Mac, on a iMac (mid 2011) running macOS Sierra, Version 10.12 (16A323)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
