Trojan/keygen-kv detected and unable to clean

I have a malware that has been detected by Sophos and when I went to clean it up it tells me that its unable to clean up the malware?

The file name is keygen.exx

Has anyone else had this problem?

How was it resolved?

Where did it originate from?

It's probably in a location that Sophos can read from (to detect the threat), but Sophos doesn't have write access to. Check the path to see where it goes.
