Persistent warning

I have had the following message on my desktop for 6 weeks and no matter what I do to delete it, it keeps coming back. Is it a real Sophos message or spam? Can anyone help?

The message is: "Threat Detected by Sophos Anti-Virus. "Virus/Spyware" MAL/MSIL-KL has been detected and listed in Quarantine Manager" I open the Manager and it is there. I activate the link; it goes away and there are no further threats in the Manager. Within a couple of hours the message has returned.

Help!!

If something is detected and then removed automatically from Quarantine it sounds like it is either in a temporary location or you have set SAV to automatically clean up threats.

You could look in the logs and see where the item is being detected.
