What does it mean when the system.log files up with messages of the form:

I just signed up to say that I am also experiencing this problem. There's thousands of enteries in my console, and it has actually, on several occasions, put my computer to sleep and made it momentarily unresponsive. I've been using Sophos since 2009 on several other Macs and OS versions, but this one on Yosemite seems to be causing a lot of problems.
