Cant download Sophos Antivirus in 2020

Howdy! I want to download your free antivirus for linux, but following the instructions here when I perform an action "click Add your product credentials, otherwise click Download the software" nothing happens, I stay on the old page "Add Product License Credentials page" The antivirus btw disappeared from the list here
What am I doing wrong?

    first of all, I'm not Sophos.

    customers using the on-premise products have been informed - admittedly at short notice - of the EOS and EOL dates. The Retirement Calendar has been updated accordingly. Of course they could've pinned a note on the Free Tools page that the free SAV for Linux is no longer available. How long should this note be kept? Over the years many free tools came and went - there was never a documentation more formal than a kb-article, though in some cases there was advance notification when the withdrawal was the consequence of the introduction of a paid product.

    There is mention of the Linux version
    as it is not only still there (both the paid on-premise and the free version continue to work and will receive at least engine updates until the retirement date) but version 10 continues to be licensable with Central/Intercept X. It's not the Linux version that is discontinued but the on-premise managed "flavour" and with it the stand-alone and consequently the free version.
    There are already some threads regarding this topic. Please note that SAV for Linux is considered a server-class product in Central, at least at the moment there isn't a desktop version (there was never a server-desktop distinction in terms of functionality) and therefore no free or low-price home version.

    Thanks for sharing your feedback Christian. My expectation around software going end of life is a bit coloured because Enterprise software companies like Microsoft, IBM, EMC, ETC all have End of Life statements so clients can plan around moving to a supported product (in this case moving to the paid model). Sophos lack of cleaning up their website and not having an easily found website is why the original poster reported the issue. I just happen to notice the forum post because I was investigating why Sophos for Linux reported an error message in my logs that it failed to update because it said I had more then 1 install.

    It has been clear to me that many companies are moving towards Cloud model threat monitoring (Avast, Zscaler, Crowd Strike). So I am sure Sophos has interest in a yearly maintains fee model.

    As for the software being free, Sophos for Linux is not a cleaning tool you use if you get something. It is a solution the end users install and trust their data with Sophos. Both sides can benefit. Companies who take a lax attitude in this trust eventually end up hurting their reputation. As a software professional I will time to time speak up on these issues because how else do we communicate what is not acceptable? Other Enterprise Software Companies have changed in the way they communicate, perhaps Sophos should too.
