  • Ha! No, I should have expected that... Was at work and did not have enough time to detail.

    So there are a bunch of kids going nuts with fortnite and some other apps like twitch and youtube. I want to block them entirely. Ideally during specific times.

    They are all PC based, no consoles.

    Fortnite in particular is very difficult to block via IP or port. They use AWS and don't have anything static.

    My current setup is a unifi usg. Not much capability there.

    I'm looking at several Sophos solutions, ideally XG home, so my starting point is on the ground floor.

    I don't want to block anything at the device level as I have kids coming and going throughout the week and as I do not own their equipment I cannot touch it.

    I don't want to use anything like opendns as I want to have certain users still be able to access youtube and some other sites that may be blocked for some.
