Sophos has detected this but if I run the virus checker it tells me nothing is found? I cleared the threat a few days ago using the Quarantine manger, ran the virus checker nothing found but it has again notified me of this threat today. How can I eradicate it from the machine and be sure it has gone, or am i just unlucky in getting it a second time in a few days?

Mal/DrodZp-A is typically seen as an attachment in spam email messages.
It would be great if you can let us know where exactly was this detection made. Was is the same location both the times?
