Quarantine Manger won't open

I'm running 9.4.0 on an iMac using El Capitan. When I have run a scan using Admin rights, an issue has been detected however the Quarantine Manger won't open. Any ideas?

    I'm running Sophos antivirus 9.4.2 on El Capitan, and have the same problem where the Antivirus client appears to work but the Quarantine Manager becomes inaccessible.

    The workaround seems to be to kill the various Sophos services from command line (since SophosAV doesn't show up as an application in the 'force quit' dialog): "sudo pkill -i sophos" ... and launching the SophosAV app from the Applications folder.

    I would point out that this is not a new issue. I started happening for me a long time ago on an earlier version of SophosAV, when the machine as running OSX Mavericks.
