Quarantine Manger won't open

Hi
I'm running 9.4.0 on an iMac using El Capitan. When I have run a scan using Admin rights, an issue has been detected however the Quarantine Manger won't open. Any ideas?

I have this same problem. Preferences won't open either. I'm also on El Capitan and running Sophos 9.4.1.

Where/how can I find the log file to investigate? Thanks!
