SGN client Version 7 and Windows Firewall - Test of AD Group Policy

We've enabled all outgoing ports (but are restricting a inbound), but SGN client cannot contact the SGN Server. From the notes only ports 80 and 443 are required - Wireshark confirms these ports are communicatiing with the SGN servers (checked by turning off the firewall policy).

Does the SGN server require any inbound ports?

Hi Stephen,

Ports 80 and 443 are the only required ports to be allowed, and there is no particular inbound port that is required. I am guessing the firewall policy is not allowing the SGN Client to communicate with the SGN Server.

Hi, Thanks for the confirmation of the ports. All outbound traffic is enabled, but as it's a windows producted I'll look at setting an outgoing rule specific to Sophos just incase Windows isn't doing what we'd hope the firewall template is claiming.
