We have a HP Elitebook 840 G3, encrypted with Safeguard v7.00.1.2. The laptop has recently stopped allowing us to use the touchpad at the POA screen. Once logged in, the touchpad works fine so we are happy that the hardware itself is ok. This model laptop uses the latest Synaptics Touchpad and Synaptics TouchStyk drivers and we have noticed that the TouchStyk (little joystick control in the middle of the keyboard) is still working at the POA screen, but the Touchpad itself does not respond. Has anyone come across this and have a solution to allow the Touchpad to work?
