Access Encrypted files in USB Drive forget the Passphrase

Hi

We are using Sophos SafeGuard Client 7.00.097 and the laptop HDD is fail there are files copied in Portable drive before the HDD fail and we cannot decrypt the files because user forget the Passphrase. Is there way to recover the passphrase or decrypt the files through Sophos Safeguard Management Center?

    Hi Parviz,

    Is the Data Exchange installed in the machine? If yes, you can contact your local IT guy and he can find the key for the files and assign it to the user or the machine where the files are accessed currently. This way you can decrypt the files in the Portable drive.
