Will Bitlocker work with GPT Disk option?

We have a few LTs with GPT as the selected disk partition. The LT will have windows 7 ultimate or enterprise running. Will Bitlocker work as the encryption method for GPT windows 7(enterprise/ultimate)? Has anyone had this same scenario?

Hi Shawton,

SafeGuard Volume-Based encryption does not support GPT disks (in contrast to SafeGuard BitLocker). The installation will be aborted if such a disk is found. To avoid damage you must take care that such a disk is not added to the system at a later point in time. Please refer to the article SafeGuard Enterprise 8: Release Notes.

Thanks for your response Haridoss... from the looks of the release notes you attached, bitlocker will work with win10 ultimate and enterprise using GPT?
