SafeGuard Client Failed Sync to SGN Server with SSL (HTTPS)

Hi All

I had problem on SafeGuard Enterprise Deployment with SSL as Transport Encryption. I realize the problem may come from the SGN Client when do sync with SGN Server using Computer Name instead FQDN and make SGN Client reject the connection. Please find screen shoot on file attached and please your advice how to resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance

  • Hi Sriyanto,

the SafeGuard Enterprise Client tries to connect to the FQDN of the SafeGuard Enterprise Server that was registered in the Management Center when creating the Server Configuration package.

On the SafeGuard Client, open "C:\ProgramData\Utimaco\SafeGuard Enterprise\LocalCache\transout\config\init.xml" to check  the SafeGuard Enterprise Server FQDN, where the client tries to connect to.

    Example:

    þw¸´ ƒ¨¡óÛÜ 0ÃÛZÑ ˜‰:·›ö^^Îq«¸yÂIhdÿþ< D a t a R o o t > < C o n f i g u r a t i o n > < S e r v i c e > h t t p s : / / D E - T E S T S G N . D E / S G N S R V / t r a n s . a s m x < / S e r v i c e > < / C o n f i g u r a t i o n > < / D a t a R o o t >

Check if you can browse to this FQDN using your Internet Explorer. In my example, this would be :

    h t t p s : / / D E - T E S T S G N . D E / S G N S R V /

    Is that working?
