"Fast" encryption. What is it and what does it do?

    Hi Alex,

    actually there is some information in the manual:

    To enhance encryption speed, check the Fast Mode option in the lower left corner of the Disk management pane.

    So basically this means when using the fast encryption method the process priority will be raised and more CPU will be used to encrypt the hard drive which will increase the encryption speed.
