Sophos patches update path and notification

I've raised this point before - This is badly worded and confused!

To get the latest v8 client you need to run two MSP (MSI Patches)

1 - SGN8005Patch1804_x64. (64 or 32 obviously) - This should update your client to 8.00.5.16 from 251

2 - SGN8005WinRS4CompPatch_x64 - This should update your client from 8.00.5.16 to 8.00.5.18

You can treat the MSP in the same way you treat an MSI really.

can we get the msi file directly from sohpos? SCCM deployment seems only support msi files by default

SCCM will support MSP, but it's best to call the MSP with MSIEXEC

How many clients are you trying to update?

SCCM will support MSP, but it's best to call the MSP with MSIEXEC
