Veeam Volume Restore mittels Boot-Medium scheitert an verschlüsselter Systempartition

Die Systempartition eines Gerätes wurde mit Sophos SafeGuard verschlüsselt.

Nun ist aber kein Bare Metal Restore mit Recovery-Medium / Boot Device mehr möglich.

Veeam erkennt die Systempartition nicht mehr (kein Mapping mehr möglich), da sie verschlüsselt ist und das Boot Device (USB-Stick) leider noch vor der SafeGuard Passphrase-Abfrage startet.

Wie kann man das lösen?

Safeguard is working as designed. I think its the problem with Veeam as it is not recognizing the file format. Safeguard does the drive encryption, hence I suggest you try the File backup instead of drive backup.
