SEA Hardware maintenance expire and

Question

Hi All, 
 My SEA appliance (SEA5000 x2) hardware maintenance will expire and haven't warranty cover, because of over 3 years. If I only renew the license but not buy a new hardware, will the license details be updated to the existing SEA appliance automatically? Thus the renewal license can work on the existing SEA appliance? 
 As I know, the hardware appliances also comes with a VM license for ESXI, and the license keys are same. If renew the license only, where will be the software Email Protection Advanced running on? Existing SEA appliance? Or virtual platform?

Hi Murphy, 
 You're probably better off asking your Sophos account manager this question. 
 My understanding is that the licence will automatically be updated on any appliances, physical or virtual, that this licence applies to.
