Cannot log into SEA admin client after upgrade to 4.2.0.2

Our SEA automatically upgraded to 4.2.0.2 overnight and since then we cannot loginto admin interface (have tried IE, Chrome and Firefox)

I have checked and mail is routing through device correctly and users can log into their Spam Console area.

 

When I try to connect using url similar to :

https://xyz.com:18080/Dashboard

after 5 minutes I receive error:

504 Gateway Timeout

 

Has anyone experienced same issue or advise of possible troubleshoot the issue?

  • We have the same issue with the 4.2.0.2 update since the 17th early morning . 

    I guess restarting the appliances (takes about 25 mins for us) once in a while the coming days and manually releasing the outgoing "SpamEngine Error" mails when it fails is the way to go until Sophos have fixed it. 

    With some patience and reloading the page you get the 504 error on, you do finally get in if you are lucky. However - the appliance response times are still very slow, also after a reboot...  

    Our main issue is that we have 24/7 service desk mails and automated system error report mails that are somewhat time critical towards customers also business wise regarding SLA...  So this is not fun at all...
