Upgrade Hardware of virtual ESA?

We would like to add a vCPU (Core) and 1 GB of RAM to our virtual Appliance. Is there anything else to it than to shut it down and add the desired Hardware?

We would go from "Small" to "Small-Medium" (http://esa.sophos.com/pdf/virtual-setup.pdf).

regards,

Jonathan

  • Hello Jonathan,

You have got it right, just make sure the ESA is switched off properly before upgrading.

Note: Once set, the disk space size cannot be decreased, it can only be increased.

Let us know if you have any further queries.
