Feature Request: SPX expiry link on the email appliance give a warning/reason

Sending on behalf of client:

On the Sophos Email appliance when you send an SPX encrypted email and the (default) 10 days of registration expirition, the recipient will click the expired registration link and will redirect you to a cryptic problematic page. Request is when the link expires clicking this expired link will instead give some sort of message/information that the link has now expired (or something to that matter).

  • Hello,

As of now, it is not possible to change what comes up when recipient clicks on the expired link.

You change the wording in the registration email that it expires in 10 days.

You can change the wording under Configuration > Policy >Encryption > SPX Encryption tab (check your existing spx template and go to Edit registration email subject and text, change the words there and hit apply afterwards.

I've attached the screenshots for your reference.

Let me know if that works for you.

    Regards
