Guide for setting up email appliance with Office365

Hi,

Does anyone know if thers a official guide for setting up the email appliance with Office365?

We are currently only using the endpoint protection and are getting quite a few viruses from emails as Office365 appears to be getting worse at email protection. So we would like to start utilising our licence for the email appliance but i cant see any official mention of Office365 in the manuals.

  • There isn't an official guide for Office365, but it is essentially the same process as adding any other mail server.

There's a list of IP addresses used by Office 365 that can be found here: technet.microsoft.com/.../dn163583(v=exchg.150).aspx
Just add those to your internal mail hosts. If you don't want to add them all, you can figure out which addresses you're using by looking at the headers of some of your email. You'll also need to set those addresses as mail delivery servers and configure the mail domain to send to them.
This can all be done from under Configuration > Routing

I can't really comment for the configuration on the Office365 side, but hopefully the guide BradCall posted gives some insight.

    Hope this helps!
