Web Quarantine Access to E-Mail Distribution Groups

Hey,

we are using Directory Services (Active Directory) for web quarantine access and recipient validation.

So users are able to login with their email-address and AD-credentials to access the web quarantine.

But how can we access to the web quarantine for mail addresses where no users or AD-credentials are in place (e.g. distribution groups or secondary mail addresses)?

Is there any way to set up a quarantine-password for such addresses? I know it´s possible with PureMessage for UNIX.

Unfortunately, you can not set up a quarantine password manually for such an address if you're already using Directory services. But you may try to Enable email quarantine summary option under Configuration > Accounts > User Preferences https://docs.sophos.com/msg/sea/help/en-us/msg/sea/tasks/ConfigAccntsUsrPrefsQuarSummaries.html

Hey Jeydeep,

thx for your reply. We already use the email quarantine summary, but some users want the possibility to configure the white- and blacklist for their own distribution group mailaddresses.
