SEA 4.5.1.0 - time of click vs. long urls

Hi,

since updating to 4.5.1.0 a bunch of mails getting quarantined, which never happened before. Legit mails from Amazon and trusted vendors are affected.

The reason seems to be the modified ToC according to the release notes.

  • Resolved an issue where rewritten Time Of Click links could not be accessed if they were over a certain length. Such emails will now be quarantined. (SEA-813)

Is anyone else struggling with this, can this be changed to the way before?

  • Agreed...

To not be able to control this is completely unacceptable.

What's worse is that the "quarantined" emails do not show up in the list of blocked emails that would otherwise be accessible by signing into the blocked messages portal like other quarantined / blocked mail.

Waiting on a response from level 2 / 3 support to figure out the best way to release messages that specifically were blocked due to the 990 character URL limit.

It seems to be more common that they are quarantined when there is a large chain of emails / replies where Office 365 masks the already masked URLS which compounds the length of the URL's in signatures and other hyperlinks.
