Safeguard with Bitlocker

Dear all,

i have some notebook with Windows 10 pro where i receive some errors about TPM when i try to enable Bitlocker using the classical Windows procedure.

My question is: may Safeguard bypass this problem and enable full disk encryption on these machines, give to me also the possibility of a pre-boot authentication with a pin ?

thank you.

Safeguard Enterprise Native Device Encryption simply managed Bitlocker on the device.  If the TPM is disabled or not used, Safeguard can use a fall back protector "Passphrase".  By default the Authentication policy "Fallback Logon mode for boot Volumes" is set to "Password or startup key".

This fallback option would give you pre-boot authentication with a password (with out using the TPM).  The complexity you can define and there is nothing to stop you using just numbers.

    I hope this helps.

    Bill.
