The deployment for Sophos Connect 2.0 has been automated through our scripts, and is working like a charm. We are using AD Authentication using a sync'd AD group within Sophos XG. We noticed a couple of things:
The user must log into the captive portal for their account to get created in Sophos. It would be nice if the account got created when they attempted to connect to the VPN. This is just an extra step the user has to do for a reason I'm not aware of. Is this the expected behavior or is something not working in my setup?
