I have read this: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/medialibrary/PDFs/documentation/sophos-sfp-dsl-module-mounting-instructions-rev3.pdf?la=en
but it only explains the installation, not the removal.
The removal is NOT obvious.
Any ideas?
Thanks, in advance.
Hello Ron,
Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!
You should disable the interface from the GUI first, then disconnect the ISP cable, at this point I would recommend you to shut down the XG, and then remove the SFP/
Regards,
It is that last part that I am asking about. It does not appear to just pull out of the XG. What is the trick to get it out?
Well I assume that no-one knows. Has no-one actually attempted this, or has everyone just been unsuccessful?
Oh sorry I forgot to follow-up!
So I checked and there are no special screws on those SFP DSL, in other versions there were, but you could clearly see, not sure why it is stuck, try pushing up and then pull the tab and pull, basically as you would do with a standard fiber module.
