ws500 current users

Hi All,

Not sure if I'm the only one wondering this or I just dont know how to get at the information but...

From the dashboard I can see concurrent users and oftern want to see who they are but cant seem to get at this information quickly?

It would be really good to see who is currently surfing and what they are doing i.e. streaming video and slowing others down.

Is this something thats easy to do?

Cheers,

Nik

  • Hello NikHall,

This view type is currently on the roadmap and is being prioritized for a future release. We don't have a date yet, but it's being discussed internally.

To achieve this type of information currently, the best thing to do would be to setup a syslog server where you will see the log entries in real time.  While this is not ideal in terms of your particular resquest, it can help you to achieve your goal now.  Some customer's have this information being fed into 3rd party software such as Splunk.

If you search for "sophos_log" in your Help menu, you will find an article entitled "Interpreting a Sophos Log File", which will aid in your interpretation of the results.

    Cheers,
