Puremessage on Unix - Further customization of EUI

There is a knowledge base article for PM on Unix, "How to customize graphics in the End User Web Interface": http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/24204.html that gives instructions for some simple customization of the EUI. I've followed those instructions and taken them a bit further to "brand" the pages for the University. I do have one problem, though. To minimize confusion on the part of our users, I need to modify this wording on the EUI login page: "Enter your email address/login and password to log in." However, I cannot find the template or html that contains this sentence. Anyone know where this lives? Thanks, Bob

  • Hi Bob,

You can change the text strings for the EUWI by locating the specific language file in /opt/pmx/etc/manager/.  ie en for english, fr for french.  In that directory you will notice several .lang files, locate the file euui.lang.  The section you are looking for is under the tag <response> labelled "login_instructions".  You can alter that text and others inside the EUWI to your liking.

Once you have altered the text be sure to restart the EUWI.
