How to Configure End User Portal for Multiple Interfaces?

I would like to make the End user Portal available to users on both our LAN and also from an external Static IP/DNS Name. We currently have 5 external IP addresses and are using Virtual Webservers on several of the external ips. When I configure the End User portal, I can include the allowed networks I want (LAN, External DNS name etc) but for the listener address I can only select a single entity (either the internal LAN address or the External Address), I cannot select "any" since the port 443 is currently in use on some of out other static external IP addresses. This means I can either configure it to access the portal on the LAN or the WAN but cannot make it available on both.

So my question is how do I configure the End User portal, to listen on two specific addresses (each on a different interface)?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks

Ian

  • Hello Ian,

The appliance is only able to listen on the defined port either 443 or 10443 and the IP of the box.  If you redirect an external IP to the internal IP/hostname of the appliance then you should be able to provide access for your users internally and externally.  The appliance only has one valid interface which the uint communicates over.  The secondary interface is only used at configuration time and cannot be altered.
