ES 1100 delayed email issue

We seem to be having an issue with some emails coming into our system. Right now it only seems to be ones from one sender. I have whitelisted this sender by ip and domain name but still we get delayed errors. It appears from the log on the device its working correctly but I am at a loss why its not actually delieving it.

  • Hi stup88,

The information you provided at least does show that the message came into the appliance, passed through the policy milter and returned back to the backend MTA at which it looks to have timed out delivering.  It is always the same delivery sender that is unable to send?  Or is it a combination of the recipient and sending server.

Was there any other information from your system that you can provlde, otherwise I would recommend contacting our support team which they can remotely examine your configuration and logs to see why this is occuring.

  • It seems to always be the same sender but it is to different recipient. That's why I whitelisted the senders ip and domain. We also have pure message on our exchange server.

  • Is there any log entries from your exchange server that show the communication from the appliance to the exchange server and the rejection.
