Sophos Pure Message. Connection Refused.

Morning,

I am having an issue with my Sophos Pure Message Appliance.

When mail routing is configured to run through the Appliance I can send internal mail, and send mail externally. However any mail sent externally to our domain gets stopped. The logs are below.

Does anyone know why this would be happening.

The mail will eventually return it to the sender after two days saying the same as below. Connection Refused.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be provided.

  • Hello,

It appears that this host btacsvr22.btac.nsw.edu.au [192.168.10.106] is not allowing connectivity to port 25 or perhaps it requires some type of permission to relay through.  You can contact our support team and they will be able to troubleshoot this problem with you via the remote assistance tunnel to the email appliance.
