AD User > full web access

Hi,

Is there a way to make a specific AD user to have full access and not be blocked by any filtering?

Cheers,

Nick

  • Hi Nickjh,

We can accomplish this by creating a new additional policy for this particular AD user.

Under Configuration > Additional Policies > Add.. > Select Users: Users (add the user for full access) > Site Categories (anything that is blocked in the default policy you can change the action to "Allow") > Download Types (allow any filetypes that are blocked in the default policy) > Web Applications (allow/default) > Click next until "Name and Schedule" page > Fill in the required information: "Turn on this policy for machines connecting from" anywhere

Make sure this policy is in a high enough position so there are no conflicting policies above and reorder as necessary.
