Puremessage Recipient Validation

Hi,

Will turning on Recipient Validation in Pure Message prevent undeliverable reports from being sent to genuine senders.

IE if someone sends a genuine email but makes a small typo in the email address...

thanks

Morty

  • Hello,

Recipient validation will only prevent the attempted delivery of inbound email to non-existent addresses, so genuine senders should still receive NDR's if they mistype the intendend recipient. However, verify if your Exchange server is configured to send out NDR's or not by checking the Exchange server settings.

    Thanks.
