List of URLs defined in Site Categories

Is there a list that shows the URLs that are contained in each of the Site categories that can be blocked by the Sophos Appliances?

The reason I ask is because management wants to use the appliance to block access to Drop Box, Jungle Disk and other Online storage sites.  These sites can be blocked by changing the Action for the "Downloads" Site Category on the Appliance.  However, before blocking all sites in that category, management wants to review a list of ALL the sites that would be blocked when we begin blocking that category.

I warned them that the list would be VERY long, but they still want to see the list.  Does this list exist somewhere?

    Hi All,

    Unfortunately providing a complete list wouldn't be possible. This is proprietory information that our SophosLabs team wouldn't be able to hand out.  Also, the data comes from multiple sources - not just SophosLabs but a third party provider as well.

    You can however lookup the category of any site on the fly, using the 'URL test' feature on the dashboard of your appliance.   This will use the latest data installed on your Web Appliance to determine the category.

    If you encounter any problems after blocking the Downloads category you can always re-categorize an individual site using the 'Local Site List', or call Sophos support for help.
