Failed to call the spam engine problem

Hi,

For Pure Message Ver 3.1.2

i've been getting an error message regularly and it started two days ago.Can you assist me with this problem? 

" This alert message is generated by PureMessage because it has encountered an application error:

    That error could be caused due to multiple reasons, whereby either a killer message, a failed definition update or some other event disrupted communication with the spam engine. Since you know when the errors started appearing, the cause can likely be tied to some other event around that time.

    At this point, if you haven't already, do get in touch with Sophos Support and one of our engineers can analyze your Exchange environment and your Sophos product configuration to see what's going on here.
