Additional routing for Sophos Web Appliance?

Hi,

I'm using Sophos Web appliance and I want to create a new sepup if this scenario is possible.

I'm using 2 ISP, 3 SIte and all http/s traffic is forwarded to Sophos web a.

Now my target is A will route to isp 1 and site B C will route to ISP 2..

Is this possible.

Thank you.

  • Ideally you would want to deploy an appliance at each site and use a management appliance to centrally manage both.

That will allow you to program your router so that when it receives traffic from appliance A , use ISP A and when it receives traffic from appliance B use ISP B.

In the case of a single appliance all outbound requests would appear to be from the web appliance. This will prevent the router choosing a path based on the originating network/ip and choosing either ISP A or ISP B.

The web subscription should include activation keys for both web and management appliances. I would contact your account manager and confirm your eligible and then deploy with 2 appliances and a management appliance.
