thanks for your post.
I saw that on my machine as well directly on the startup. Depending on the hardware performance and the configuration, there is a lot of load when all the services start up. This might leed to a situation where a service needs more time to start, but the selfmon daemon is already there to check if everything is running.
So if you get the notification once or twice right after reboot, that should be OK. If you get them more often, you should check the logs.

Yes, it's not unusual for the UTM to be "chatty" with the number of messages or the content of the logs.

Chatty is ok if this was in logfiles only - However, since these were email alerts I posted this as that should not happen unless there is a problem with UTM.
